Diocese of Aversa to hold unitary meeting on October 27, 2026
The Diocese of Aversa will hold a joint meeting to begin the 2026-2027 pastoral year on Tuesday, October 27, 2026. The event starts at 19:00 at the Cathedral Church.
Bishop Angelo Spinillo organized the meeting under the theme "Called and Sent: Laity and Consecrated in a Single Mission." Giuseppe Notarstefano, the national president of Azione Cattolica Italiana, will participate.
The diocese intends to focus on the formation of laypeople, guided by the post-synodal documents "Lievito di pace e di speranza" and "Radicati e costruiti in Cristo." To encourage dialogue within parish communities and lay groups, organizers will distribute reflection sheets to attendees. Participants may also contribute to the discussion in person.
