Diocese of Bac Ninh holds priestly training course

The Diocese of Bac Ninh held a training course for young priests on September 21 and 22, 2026, at Tam Dao Parish in the Vinh Phuc deanery. The program focused on the theme of participating and sharing responsibility within the Church to help young priests apply a synodal spirituality to their ministry and fraternal life.

During the sessions, instructor Dominic Nguyen Xuan Truong helped the priests explore synodal spirituality and its connection to current pastoral ministry. The participants practiced the method of dialogue in the Holy Spirit to learn how to listen and discern together. On the second day, the priests shared their pastoral experiences, difficulties, and concerns regarding their work in various parishes.

The training included the presence of dean Peter Verona Chu Quang Hoa and Francis Xavier Ngo Quang Khai, the pastor of Tam Dao Parish, who is in charge of the training program for the diocese's young priests. The event concluded with a thanksgiving Mass at Tam Dao Parish.
