Diocese of Ballarat marks United Nations Day of Peace

The Diocese of Ballarat is inviting residents to participate in a community-led program of events from September 20 to September 27, 2026, to mark the United Nations International Day of Peace.

The program features various activities hosted by local organizations, community groups, and residents to honor the September 21 international observance. This year's theme, Invest in Peace: For Everyone, Everywhere, Every Day, recognizes individuals who drive local action and build stability through daily efforts.

The Diocese suggests practical ways for people to contribute to peace, such as volunteering time to help others, hosting youth-led Peace Circles to discuss solutions, or using personal platforms to promote causes of hope and justice.
