Diocese of Bayeux-Lisieux holds parish festival

More than 250 people gathered in Bretteville l’Orgueilleuse on June 27, 2026, for a parish festival hosted by the Sainte Claire Ouest Caen community. The event included a period of praise to mark the past year, a retrospective of community activities, and a meal featuring appetizers and grilled food.

As part of the festival, community members worked together to build a wooden bridge. The project was intended to symbolize the connection of different local villages, people, and talents within the various communities. Despite rain and a storm during the evening, the participants completed the construction.
