Diocese of Belfort–Montbéliard to host Christ Vert initiation

The Diocese of Belfort–Montbéliard will host a three-evening initiation program for the Christ Vert approach this November. The sessions are scheduled for November 3, 10, and 17 from 20h to 22h at the maison du diocèse in Trévenans.

The Laudato Si team developed the program to help participants discover integral ecology and understand its impact on daily life. The curriculum consists of two parts: performing a diagnostic assessment and contemplating the life of Jesus for inspiration. Each of the three sessions lasts approximately 1h30 and includes time for group discussion.

The course is based on two paths created by Father Etienne Grenet, a priest ordained in 2007 in the Diocese of Paris. Father Grenet developed these paths following the publication of his book, Christ Vert, on September 15, 2021, which explores themes from Pope Francis's encyclical Laudato Si.
