Diocese of Carpi hosts RamificAzioni art show
The Diocese of Carpi hosted the second RamificAzioni UrbanLandArt exhibition in the gardens of the Novi parish. Held during the AiaFolkFestival and the feast of St. Michael the Archangel, the show featured works by the Cascina degli Artisti group and various authors.
The exhibition opened on Saturday, September 26, with appearances by artistic coordinator Carlo Moretti, Francesca Manzini, director of the Il Correggio Civic Museum and catalog curator, Coro Mondine president Manuela Rossi, and AiaFolkFestival organizer Diego Zanotti. Artists used different materials and techniques to create pieces that interact with the local environment, with some working in the exhibition space as an open air studio.
The 2026 theme, "Sowing Beauty," connected the art to the eighth centenary of the death of St. Francis to encourage reflection on the relationship between humans and creation.
