Diocese of Divinópolis holds first Health Pastoral meeting

The Diocese of Divinópolis held its first Diocesan Health Pastoral meeting on Saturday, September 26, at the diocesan curia, bringing together 55 members from 17 parishes and 6 deaneries.

Diácono Marcos Antônio da Silva, the diocesan ecclesiastical assessor for the Health Pastoral, presented a service project for visiting the sick, the elderly, lonely individuals, and those in mourning. Clinical psychologist Cláudia Geralda Glaciano spoke on caring for and visiting the sick and elderly. Priests Marcos Paulo and Ydecy also discussed topics related to the pastoral ministry.

Participants included 5 permanent deacons and seminarian Gustavo Rodrigo. The meeting concluded with a period for questions and an exchange of experiences followed by a lunch.
