Diocese of Lages publishes video on women's rights

The Diocese of Lages released the third video in its Vida em Primeiro Lugar series, featuring a discussion on defending women's rights.

In the video, Denise Paes from the Marcha Mundial das Mulheres discusses the importance of addressing violence against women during the Grito dos Excluídos social mobilizations. Paes states that violence against women requires a commitment from all of society and that including this topic in social movements helps increase awareness and build more just, equal, and non-violent relationships. She emphasizes the need to expand debates regarding the various forms of violence and exclusion that affect women.
