Diocese of Laredo to host Life Chain on October 4, 2026

The Diocese of Laredo will host a Life Chain on Sunday, October 4, 2026. The gathering is scheduled from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. along Hillside Road and McPherson Road in Laredo.

The Diocese of Laredo Family Life Office describes the event as a peaceful gathering for people of all faiths to pray for the dignity of human life from conception to natural death.

The office also announced a pro-life poster contest for children and youth in grades 1 through 12. This year's theme is "Mary, Mother of Life, Pray for Us!" Participants must submit their artwork by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 19, 2026. Additionally, the diocese scheduled a pro-life rosary walk for Sunday, January 24, 2027, starting at 2:00 p.m.
