Diocese of Linares holds family encounter

About 220 people gathered at the Colegio Salesiano de Linares on Saturday, October 3, for a family encounter. Under the theme “Familia, donde vivimos la esperanza, el amor y la oración,” the event provided children, youth, and adults with opportunities for prayer, recreation, and community reflection.

Bishop Koljatic welcomed the participants and led the opening prayer. Adults participated in a reflection session based on the apostolic exhortation Amoris Laetitia, focusing on teachings regarding love within the family. The session encouraged participants to discuss their daily joys and challenges, emphasizing that love is built through listening, dialogue, forgiveness, accompaniment, and service.
