Diocese of Orange holds talent showcase

The Diocese of Orange held its first Habit and Collar Talent Showcase on July 25 at the Arboretum on the Christ Cathedral Campus. More than 500 parishioners and fans watched priests, seminarians, sisters, and other members of the diocese perform various musical and stage acts.

The event featured a range of performances, including rock music by seminarian Alan Hoetker and the Orange Blossom Special Band, opera singing by Fr. William Goldin, and piano playing by Bishop Kevin Vann. The sisters Van Yen Nguyen and Christen Nguyen performed magic tricks, while Fr. Daniel Seo demonstrated yo-yo skills. Anthony Vultaggio, a strategist for the Orange Catholic Foundation, also performed a comedy and magic sketch.
