Diocese of Osório to hold Encontrão dos Grupos de Família e Grupos Eclesiais on November 7

The Diocese of Osório will host a gathering for family and ecclesial groups on November 7 in Santo Antônio da Patrulha. Organized by the Diocesan Missionary Council, the event aims to strengthen community ties, share faith experiences, and renew missionary commitment.

The program begins at the Associação dos Caminhoneiros Santo Antônio on Rua Edemar da Silva Braga. Participants will start the day with a walk to symbolize unity and the desire to welcome new experiences into their communities.

Bishop Jaime Pedro Kohl said the gathering allows members to learn about different ecclesial realities and recognize the unique gifts of various community groups. He noted that the event encourages people to move beyond their own circles to grow through sharing and to welcome those who have drifted away from the Church.
