Diocese of Potosi to host fifth zonal meeting on catechesis

The Diocese of Potosi is hosting the fifth zonal meeting on catechesis from October 15 to October 17 at the El Molino retreat house in Yocalla. The gathering brings together catechists, delegates, and pastoral agents from Potosi, Oruro, and Tarija to update faith formation itineraries.

The meeting follows previous sessions held in Cochabamba, Beni, Santa Cruz, and La Paz. Organized by the Evangelization Area of the Bolivian Episcopal Conference, the event aims to collect community experiences and address challenges in transmitting the faith across different contexts in Bolivia.

Cecilia Coronel and Bishop Pedro Fuentes are leading the effort to review how the Gospel is taught and lived. Participants are working to ensure catechesis supports people through various life stages and presents faith as a lifelong journey rather than just preparation for the sacraments.
