Diocese of Saint-Hyacinthe to celebrate 100th World Mission Day

The Diocese of Saint-Hyacinthe will celebrate the 100th World Mission Day with a Mass of Nations on Sunday, October 18. The event is scheduled for 17 h at the cathedral.

The diocese uses the month of October to support the missionary work of the Church through prayer and solidarity with Christian communities and mission initiatives worldwide. Offerings collected during this period typically fund evangelization efforts in various countries.

The Mass of Nations will feature the Sion and Lumière choirs alongside the diocesan choir. The celebration intends to highlight the diversity of people and nations within the local Church.
