Diocese of Santa Luzia de Mossoró holds XXX Romaria da Juventude

The Diocese of Santa Luzia de Mossoró will host the 30th Youth Romaria on October 18 at the Shrine of Our Lady of the Impossible in Patu. The event will bring together young people from various parishes and communities across the diocese to celebrate their faith and strengthen communal bonds.

Father Max Damasceno, the diocesan coordinator for youth, said this year's gathering is particularly significant because it occurs during the 2026 Diocesan Year of Youth. He stated the diocese aims to listen to young people, value their talents, and provide spaces for them to lead evangelization efforts.

The pilgrimage invites youth groups, pastoral movements, new communities, and schools from parishes, quasi-parishes, and missionary areas to participate. Attendees will gather at the shrine in Serra do Lima to pray and renew their commitment to the Church's mission.
