Diocese of Termoli–Larino celebrates Earth Custody Day

The Diocese of Termoli-Larino held a Day for the Custody of the Earth on Friday, September 25, at the Stella Maris diocesan hermitage in Guglionesi. The event brought together members from various local parishes for a diocesan Mass to reflect on the connection between faith and ecological responsibility.

Father Antonio Giannone presided over the Mass, where he spoke about the importance of the land as a place where personal and community histories develop. Following the liturgy, Father Giuseppe Di Lena joined in planting a young holm oak tree on the hermitage grounds. The tree was donated by the Le Marinelle nursery in Petacciato as a symbol of hope and spiritual renewal.
