Diocese of Timika holds visitation of love

The Lukas region of the Santa Maria Diangkat ke Surga Parish in Biak held a visitation of love on September 18, 2026, to support elderly parishioners and families in need. Members of the community and organizers visited homes to deliver gifts, offer prayers, and spend time with residents.

Parish priest Sebastianus Ture Liwu visited the homes to provide blessings for each family. Father Liwu stated that the visits serve as a sign of God's mercy flowing to the weak and those requiring special attention.

The event served as preparation for the feast of Santo Lukas on October 18, 2026.
