Diocese of Verona hosts San Francesco event

The Diocese of Verona will host an event titled "St. Francis: Beyond the Banality of a Myth" on Monday, September 21, at the Cinema Teatro San Massimo.

Don Simone Toffolon, a collaborator with the diocesan Ufficio Beni Culturali, will present the session. The meeting will examine historical sources, biographical details, and artistic representations of St. Francis to portray him as a radical medieval man deeply involved in the social and political tensions of his era.
