Dom Gabriel presidiu Missa da Festa de São João Evangelista, em Mussurunga, e ministrou Sacramento da Crisma a 12 adultos

Bishop Gabriel dos Santos Filho presided over the feast day Mass for Saint John the Evangelist in the Mussurunga community of Salvador, Bahia, on September 20. During the celebration at the Matriz Church, the auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of São Salvador da Bahia administered the sacrament of confirmation to 12 adults.

The Mass was concelebrated by parish priest Benedito Pereira, parochial vicar Adil da Silva, and priest Vanderlei Carlos. In his homily, Bishop Gabriel spoke about the importance of trusting in God and maintaining faith through life's challenges. He also emphasized living a life based on the Word of God.

This visit marked the bishop's first return to the parish since his episcopal ordination. Before the final blessing, the bishop sent deacon João Karlos to begin a new assignment in Ituaçu, Bahia.
