Bishop Gilson Meurer delivered the fourth video in the Life First series to encourage the community to prioritize human life in their decisions and actions. The Diocese of Lages social ministries created the video series to promote reflection on social realities and reaffirm a commitment to human dignity and rights.

The series aligns with the mobilization of the Grito dos Excluídos e das Excluídas, which seeks to highlight people and groups facing inequality, vulnerability, and exclusion. Through these videos, the diocese encourages people to recognize situations that harm human dignity and to work toward a more just and solidary society.
