Bishop Michele to preside ecumenical celebration for Creation care and peace

Bishop Michele will preside over an ecumenical celebration for the custody of Creation and peace on Sunday, September 27. The event will take place at 17.30 in the minor cloister of the Treviso diocesan seminary.

Themed “Acqua viva, segni di pace,” the gathering will include representatives from different Christian confessions in the territory. Stefano Vescovi, director of the diocesan office for ecumenism and interreligious dialogue, said the meeting intends to renew a common commitment to the custody of Creation and to address ecological and human challenges through prayer and listening to the Word of God.

A social gathering will follow the celebration to allow for informal exchange and mutual acquaintance.
