Dominik Weidlich lays foundation stone for senior quarter in Horn-Millinghausen

Dominik Weidlich laid the foundation stone for a new senior housing complex in the Horn-Millinghausen district of Erwitter. The project, built by construction company owner Dominik Weidlich, will be operated by the Ambulante Dienst am Südertor in Lippstadt, a facility of the Seniorenhilfe SMMP.

The complex will feature a residential group on the ground floor with twelve places, where each resident receives a private room and bathroom. The upper floors will contain six barrier-free apartments ranging from 58 to 102 square meters, which are available to tenants of any age. To ensure safety, the building will use an artificial intelligence-supported emergency call system designed to detect falls and distress calls, alerting staff within seconds.

The facility is designed to meet KfW-Effizienzhaus 40 energy standards, using a heat pump for warmth and electricity sourced from its own roof. Construction is scheduled to finish in the autumn of 2027.
