Don Ennio Gobbatto becomes rector of Santuario della Madonna Missionaria

Don Ennio Gobbatto will take on a new pastoral role as the rector of the Santuario della Madonna Missionaria in Tricesimo. The Diocese of Udine announced that Gobbatto, who currently serves as rector of the Santuario della Madonna del Lussari, will also lead the shrine in Tricesimo.

The appointment follows the upcoming transfer of three monks to the pastoral collaboration of Pavia di Udine. These religious will depart the Tricesimo community during a Mass on Sunday, October 11, at 11 a.m., after which Gobbatto will begin his term.

Gobbatto previously served as a parochial vicar in Tricesimo from 1995 to 1997. He was ordained a priest in 1994 by Archbishop Alfredo Battisti. Since 2022, his recent service includes work in the pastoral collaboration of San Daniele del Friuli and the communities of Canale di Gorto in Carnia. The Santuario della Madonna Missionaria holds parochial dignity and is administered by Bishop Nicola Degano.
