Don Marco Vitale presides over first mass in "Le Querce di Mamre" chapel

Father Marco Vitale presided over the first Mass in the chapel of the Le Querce di Mamre community in Marina di Acate on Monday, September 21. The celebration followed the community's inauguration on Sunday and concluded with the placement of the Blessed Sacrament in the tabernacle.

The Mass was attended by members of the Marina di Acate community, provincial prioress Sister Monica Muccio, and friends of the community. During his homily, Father Vitale used a reading from the Letter of Saint Paul to encourage the sisters to live with humility and gentleness. He described gentleness as a form of greatness in loving others and emphasized the importance of maintaining unity. Father Vitale also noted that while loving others is difficult, allowing oneself to be loved is even more challenging.
