Don’t Miss Out: Diocese, Catholic Charities & Church Health Synodal Event

The Diocese of Memphis, Catholic Charities of West Tennessee, and Church Health will host a synodal listening event titled Cry of the Earth, Cry of the Poor on Thursday morning, October 1. The gathering takes place from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Church Health Community Room at Crosstown Concourse in Memphis.

Participants will discuss how environmental issues impact local communities, including extreme heat, storms, power outages, and food loss. The conversation will also address high utility costs and the effects of living near data centers on neighborhood energy and water supplies.

The event is open to everyone but limited to 50 attendees. Interested participants must register in advance via the link or QR code provided by the Diocese.
