„Dumnezeu nu este un computer” – Meditație pentru Duminica a XXV-a de peste an

The Office for Liturgical and Sacramental Pastoral Care has released a brief liturgical meditation for the 25th Sunday in Ordinary Time. The material, titled "God is not a computer," is intended to assist in preparing liturgical celebrations, particularly the Holy Liturgy.

Drawing on the work of K. Rahner, the meditation suggests that God should be understood as a mystery rather than a predictable entity. The text warns that believers and priests often speak about God as if they perfectly understand how the divine sees, feels, and acts. It cautions against reducing God to narrow human visions or schemes, such as viewing God merely as a being who records sins and merits to distribute rewards.
