Padre Salvatore Berardi dies

Father Salvatore Berardi, a Cistercian monk from the Santa Maria della Consolazione Monastery in Martano, died during the night.

The Diocese of Otranto reported that his body is lying in state at the monastery church. The Archbishop will preside over his funeral Mass, which is scheduled for tomorrow at 11:00 at the monastery church.
