Caritas italiana, Focsiv and Fondazione Lanza to launch national ecology course

Caritas italiana, Focsiv, and Fondazione Lanza will launch the sixth edition of a national training course on integral ecology for parishes and communities on October 5. The program consists of six online lessons running until December 14, 2026.

The course covers three main themes: economic, social, and natural ecology. The economic portion examines how to move away from models of unlimited growth and profit toward an economy that serves the common good and places limits on the management of natural resources. The social ecology section addresses the human impact of the climate crisis, specifically the rise in migration caused by desertification, ecosystem degradation, and extreme weather events. The final section focuses on natural ecology and local policies for environmental change.
