El arte de cuidar la liturgia del Papa: así se han hecho los ornamentos para las misas de León XIV en Francia

French artisans, companies, and volunteers have produced the liturgical vestments and objects for Pope Leo XIV's upcoming visit to France, scheduled to begin on September 25, 2026. Various groups across the country collaborated to create albs, stoles, altar cloths, crosses, and liturgical furniture for the celebrations in Paris, Lourdes, and Metz.

The company Les Tissages de Charlieu donated the fabric for the stoles and operated its looms day and night to complete the order. Workers at Tri d’Emma, a social integration workshop from the Emmaus movement in Villerest, cut and sewed 5,000 eco-friendly jacquard stoles for the priests and deacons attending the three masses. Following production, more than 120 local volunteers carried out a large scale ironing operation. Additionally, the Clarisas sisters in Troyes made the altar cloths for the celebrations.
