El Círculo de Silencio de Jaén pone el foco en la realidad migratoria de Ceuta

The Diocese of Jaén's Circle of Silence focused on the migration situation in Ceuta during its September 17 meeting. The group highlighted that the reality in the city involves more than political or management issues, noting the human suffering and resilience behind migration statistics.

The Diocese cited a count from Caminando Fronteras stating that 145 lives have been lost, representing 145 interrupted stories and families. The group joined more than 140 organizations calling for a dignified humanitarian response for migrants and refugees in Ceuta.

The Diocese stated that administrations must share responsibility rather than passing it to one another. The group also expressed support for local professionals, neighbors, and organizations that provide aid and defend rights when institutional support is lacking.
