El Jubileo de la Virgen de la Cabeza ya tiene logo oficial

The Diocese of Jaén has selected an official logo for the upcoming Diocesan Jubilee Year celebrating the 800th anniversary of the apparition of the Virgin of la Cabeza. Artist Francisco Galán Galán won the design competition with his proposal titled "800 años de fe, historia y devoción."

The Jubilee Year is scheduled to begin on October 4. The jury chose Galán's design from more than 25 entries submitted from different points in the geography and from other countries, such as Brazil. According to the jury, the wide range of participants demonstrates the strong connection people feel to the devotion of the Virgin de la Cabeza beyond provincial borders.

The winning logo uses the number 8 to represent the pilgrim's path and the infinite nature of a devotion passed down through generations. The competition required entries to be original and include a basic manual for use, ensuring the graphic brand could adapt to different formats and applications.
