El Obispo alienta a los agentes de Cáritas a «ser luz de esperanza» para quienes sufren «situaciones de oscuridad»

Bishop Sebastián Chico encouraged Caritas volunteers to provide hope to people facing pain, loneliness, and economic hardship during an opening event for the Caritas course in Úbeda. The gathering, held on September 19, brought together agents from parish teams, inter-parish groups, and diocesan programs.

The event at the Casa de la Iglesia in Úbeda combined training and community building under the theme "Choose to love. Choose community. Choose to meet."

During his welcome address, Bishop Chico thanked the volunteers for their commitment to listening to difficult stories and remaining present when solutions are not immediate. He described the workers as a light for those experiencing uncertainty or a lack of opportunities.
