El Obispo invita a la Curia diocesana a vivir el nuevo curso desde la misión y el servicio

Bishop Sebastián Chico Martínez called on the staff of the Jaén diocesan Curia to prioritize mission and service during the start of their new work year. During a Mass held on Friday, September 18, at the Casa de la Iglesia, the bishop told Curia employees and officials that their administrative work must serve the Church's mission rather than existing as a mere structure.

The bishop noted that all projects, meetings, and tasks should center on Christ to remain meaningful. He encouraged the Curia to participate in the current pastoral plan, which uses the theme "You are the light of the world," by asking how each staff member can contribute to this missionary effort through their specific roles.

The liturgy was attended by priests including Vicar General Juan Ignacio Damas, Seminary Rector Juan Francisco Ortiz, Secretary Miguel Lendínez, Bishop's Secretary Francisco Javier Cova, and Judicial Vicar Andrés Segura. Delegates, directors of secretariats, and Curia workers also participated in the service.
