Em Genazzano, o retrato de Leão XIV entre os Papas devotos a Nossa Senhora do Bom Conselho

Pope Leo XIV inaugurated a new fresco of himself praying before the image of Our Lady of Good Counsel at the Basilica of Our Lady of Good Counsel in Genazzano on Monday, September 7.

The artwork, created by Marco Innocenzi, depicts the Pope in prayer before the venerated Marian image. This portrait joins a tradition of paintings honoring Popes who have visited the sanctuary. The Pope unveiled the work before celebrating Mass on the eve of the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
