Staff at the Bom Pastor Metropolitan Curia planted a seedling on Monday, September 21, to mark the start of spring. The event served as a way for employees to express gratitude to God for creation and to renew their commitment to environmental care.

During the gathering held in the outdoor area of the Curia, staff members wrote personal reasons for their gratitude on small pieces of paper. They placed these notes into a watering can and used the water to nourish the new plant. This act symbolized the desire to cultivate daily gratitude to produce fruits in their lives.

The activity drew inspiration from the Gospel of John, specifically the passage describing Jesus as the true vine and followers as the branches. Participants used the moment to reflect on staying united to Christ to fulfill their daily missions and to acknowledge their shared responsibility for caring for the environment.
