Archdiocese of Alba Iulia places memorial plaque for Fancsali Mózes

The Archdiocese of Alba Iulia placed a memorial plaque in Székelyfancsal on September 20 to honor Mózes Fancsali, a parish priest known for building a church.

Fancsali, who lived from 1732 to 1804, served as the parish priest in Lövete from 1768 to 1804. During his ministry, the Kisboldogasszony-plébániatemplom in Lövete was constructed. The community celebrated the 250th anniversary of the church this year.

László István, the current parish priest in Lövete and the 14th successor to Fancsali, spoke at the memorial Mass. Following the service, the plaque was blessed. Representatives from the Lövete church council attended the event to honor the priest's legacy and his connection to both Székelyfancsal and Lövete.
