EN CAMINO HACIA EL MES MISIONERO 2026

The Archdiocese of Medellín held a meeting for parish pastoral council members, coordinators, and missionaries on September 12 at the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana sports center. The gathering served to prepare representatives from various parish communities for the upcoming Missionary Month 2026 through prayer, training, and the sharing of missionary tools and experiences.

During a catechesis, Bishop Ricardo Tobón Restrepo encouraged participants to act as instruments of God and to move beyond complaining about worldly changes. He urged leaders to address the needs of families, young people, and small communities while strengthening the role of the laity and using new media for evangelization. The event concluded with the presentation of resources for Missionary Month and a call for pastoral workers to use their different gifts to serve a shared mission.
