The Diocese of Guarulhos is using the DGAE 2026-2032 as the primary instrument in Brazil to implement the Synod of Bishops. These reflections will serve as a work tool for the Diocesan Assembly scheduled for the first half of 2027.

The diocese is currently reflecting on situations that challenge evangelization. One specific issue noted in parishes is the weakening of the sense of community, which affects the sense of belonging and responsibility toward evangelization efforts.
