Pope Leo XIV will visit ten cities across Uruguay, Argentina, and Peru from November 6 to 17, according to an itinerary released by the Holy See Press Office on September 21. This marks the first apostolic journey of the Pope to South America. The trip follows invitations from heads of state and Church authorities in the three nations.

The first stage takes place in Uruguay from November 6 to 8, where the Pope will visit Montevideo, Paysandú, and Florida. During this period, he is scheduled to visit the sanctuary of Virgen de los Treinta Tres and celebrate Mass at the Cathedral plaza on Sunday, November 8.

The itinerary includes visits to the sanctuary of Luján in Argentina and the coronation of the Virgen Inmaculada in Chiclayo, Peru. Throughout the twelve day trip, the Pope will meet with government officials, social representatives, and local Church communities through liturgical celebrations and prayer services.
