Evangelization Lab trains dioceses to reach digital travelers

Evangelization Lab is training diocesan staff and parishes to use digital platforms to foster personal connections and lead people toward the sacramental life of the Church. Founded by José Manuel de Urquidi in Dallas, the organization conducts research and experiments to help Catholic groups turn their online presence into a tool for interpersonal communication.

Digital missionary Katie Ruvalcaba said the goal is to move people from internet spaces into sacramental relationships with Christ and the Church. The organization's work follows the recent encyclical Magnifica Humanitas, in which Pope Leo XIV called for the humane and proper use of technology for evangelization.
