Exaltación de la Santa Cruz. Cristo manifiesta su majestad

The Diocese of Málaga observes the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, a day the Church uses to reflect on how Jesus transformed an instrument of torture into a means of salvation and life.

The diocese notes that while the passion and death of Jesus involve dark elements, the feast highlights the mystery of his boundless love. Several parishes within the diocese are dedicated to the Holy Cross, specifically in Málaga, Villanueva de Cauche, and Teba.
