Fare memoria di Cristo per ritrovare la strada

Archbishop Claudio Maniago began a pastoral visit to the Taverna, Albi, and San Giovanni d’Albi area, marking the first stop in the Gimigliano-Taverna vicariate. Local parish communities, the mayors of Taverna and Albi, and civil and military authorities met the Archbishop during the visit.

During the Eucharistic celebration, Archbishop Maniago used the theme "do this in memory of me" to explain the purpose of his visit. He told the communities that remembering Christ is not about sentimental feelings toward the past, but about centering life on what provides true direction. He compared this to life's ongoing challenges, noting that people must remember what truly matters to navigate difficult moments.

Priest Vitaliano Caruso spoke on behalf of priests Simone Samà and Raffaele Catizone, stating that the visit serves as an opportunity for the communities to meet, listen to one another, and review their shared journey rather than acting as a formal institutional meeting.
