Farewell to Shinyuy Mariline as She Is Laid to Rest in Buea.

Bishop Michael Bibi presided over the funeral Mass for Shinyuy Mariline on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at Regina Pacis Cathedral in Small Soppo, Buea. Clergy, family, and friends gathered at the cathedral of the Diocese of Buea to celebrate the funeral rites and pray for her soul.

During his homily, Bishop Bibi told the congregation that death can arrive without warning and affects everyone regardless of age, wealth, or social status. He encouraged the faithful to remain spiritually prepared and to live lives worthy of the resurrection. The bishop also urged mourners to use the passing of Mariline as a time for personal reflection, reconciliation, and spiritual renewal.
