Festa de Nossa Senhora da Boa Viagem reúne comunidades e fiéis em Jacaraci

The Nossa Senhora da Boa Viagem e Almas Parish in Jacaraci celebrated its patronal feast on Tuesday, September 8, marking the end of a novena that began August 30. The event brought together many faithful and 50 communities from across the parish.

The festivities began at 9 a.m. with a procession through the city streets. Following the procession, Father Paulo Henrique Neves presided over a Solemn Mass. He was joined by concelebrating priests Father Izaías Silva, Father Fabiano Silva, Father Antonio Reinaldo Santos, and Father Weverson Almeida.

The celebration followed the theme of rediscovering the joy of living in family with Mary, which aligns with the Diocese of Caetité's Year of the Family. During his homily, Father Paulo Henrique Neves spoke about the foundations of families and the importance of passing values to new generations.
