Bishop Claudio Palumbo presides at Santa Irene feast

Bishop Claudio Palumbo will preside over a Mass for the feast of St. Irene in Tavenna on September 3, 2026. The Bishop of Termoli-Larino is scheduled to lead the 11:00 a.m. liturgy as part of the religious celebrations for the town.

The festivities include a procession through the streets of the village and a fireworks display following the Mass. The religious program is part of a larger event held on September 2 and 3 that also features the 22nd edition of the Artigianato a Tavenna craft fair.
