Festejos da Padroeira do Brasil em Divinópolis seguem até 12 de outubro

The festivities for Our Lady Aparecida, the patroness of Brazil, continue at the Sanctuary of Our Lady Aparecida in the Bom Pastor neighborhood of Divinópolis until October 12. The celebrations began on September 27 with the Caminhando com Maria event, which drew more than eight thousand people.

A novena begins this weekend on October 3. On the first day, Father Luís Fernando Alves Cruz will preside over the 06h Mass, and Monsignor Pedro Gondim Ferreira will preside over the 19h Mass. The second day of the novena includes a 07h Mass led by Monsignor Ferreira and a 09h Mass for children led by Father Cruz. Father Moacir Chagas Tavares, the diocesan bursar, will preside over the 19h Mass on the second day.
