Finding Peace Through Care

Lisa Perakatt, SCN, shared the story of Karan Bahadur Mizar to reflect on her ministry and the impact of providing healthcare in Nepal. Through a video, Perakatt describes how Mizar found peace after facing significant personal hardships, including the early death of his father, family debt, and the struggle to provide for his household.

Mizar, a 32-year-old from the Dailekh district, initially sought work in India to improve his family's circumstances. His connection to a mobile health clinic helped him recognize the support available to him and his family. Perakatt noted that her ministry relies on listening and presence to assist people facing difficult circumstances.
