The Italian Federation for Persons with Disabilities and Families (FISH) called for a change in approach following a tragedy in the Pietralata neighborhood of Rome. The organization expressed deep sorrow after a father, a mother, and their daughter with a disability were found dead.

FISH stated that no person with a disability and no family should be left alone. Investigators are working to reconstruct exactly what happened.
