Forania São Benedito holds leadership formation in Morros

Leaders from the São Benedito Forania gathered in Morros from September 25 to 27 for training to strengthen pastoral work and evangelization in parish communities. The three day program included prayer, reflection, and planning sessions focused on supporting youth and adults within their parishes.

The training covered several specific topics for Church leaders. Evandro Pereira led a session on praying with Lectio Divina, while Ana Célia Freitas conducted a listening circle that Pereira later analyzed. Seminarist Talison Rocha presented a session on the structure and reality of the local Archdiocese.

Participants also discussed the confirmation process. Siderlan Cutrim spoke about the identity of those preparing for confirmation, and Ana Célia addressed how to support confirmed members in their ongoing life in the Church. Cutrim also led a reflection on Christian psychopedagogy to help leaders work with youth and adults during the evangelization process.
