FORMAÇÃO PERMANENTE DOS PRESBÍTEROS REÚNE 112 PARTICIPANTES NO REGIONAL OESTE 2

112 participants gathered in Cuiabá from September 21 to 23 for the Permanent Formation of Priests organized by the West Region 2 of the National Conference of Bishops of Brazil (CNBB). The meeting, held at the UNIFACC-MT auditorium, brought together bishops, priests, transitional deacons, and fourth-year theology seminarians to study spiritual direction and pastoral counseling.

Bishop Célio Calixto, an auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of São Sebastião do Rio de Janeiro, served as the advisor for the event. He used Christian and monastic traditions to explain spiritual accompaniment, referencing the Church document The Priest, Minister of Divine Mercy. The program included spiritual exercises, study sessions, and pastoral reflection.
